Adapteo strengthens its strategic position in Denmark – enters agreement to acquire the modular building assets of Ajos A/S

<p><span><span><strong>On 6&nbsp;December, Adapteo announced its intention to acquire the modular building assets of Ajos A/S from MT H&oslash;jgaard Holding (MTH) in an asset deal. With the acquisition, Adapteo strengthens its position in Denmark and as a leader in the rental of modular buildings to the social infrastructure sector in Northern Europe. </strong></span></span></p>

<p><span><span>Adapteo, the leading adaptable space partner in Northern Europe, has entered an agreement regarding an intention to acquire the modular building assets of Ajos, a subsidiary to MT H&oslash;jgaard Holding (MTH). Ajos provides high-quality adaptable buildings for rental to the public sector in Denmark, with a building portfolio partly certified with the Swan Ecolabel. The company offers temporary housing for school, daycare, premium office facilities, and relocation facilities. Ajos had a revenue of DKK 81.0M in 2020, and more than 96 percent of the rental revenues came from the public sector.</span></span></p>

<p><span><span>Adapteo is present in a total of eight European countries and has taken several steps during the last year to increase its geographical footprint across Europe. In particular, Adapteo recently acquired Dutch Cabin Group which has operations in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. Adapteo also expanded its presence in Norway through the acquisition of Stord Innkvartering and entered the Lithuanian market earlier this year.</span></span></p>
