Projects in the spotlight
Across Europe, Adapteo’s innovative approach is demonstrated through projects that solve complex challenges while pushing modular construction forward. Some projects we are especially proud of include:
- Climate innovation was showcased when we delivered energy-efficient offices in Sweden. Low energy consumption, based on the building’s innovative technology, such as high-quality multi-layer insulation and heat exchangers, helped meet Climate 2030 goals.
- In Norway, Adapteo addressed severe land constraints by delivering 17,500 m² of space on land and at sea positioning modules atop of floating barges to accommodate 780 workers with living spaces, offices, and canteens.
- A modern, child-friendly daycare centre in Germany was more than an emergency response to a population boom. Some features: infrared heating, kitchen, group rooms and bedrooms, barrier-free access, and LED lighting with Human Centric Lighting.
- Complex design requirements were met in Denmark when delivering 81 modules for two special-needs schools. Careful attention was paid to both indoor and outdoor areas, with design adapted to specific teaching methods, acoustics, and lighting needs.
- At BAUMA construction industry expo in Germany, Adapteo delivered more than 40 exhibition stands totalling 4,300 m². The variety and individuality of the individual booths impressed attendees during the popular Adapteo Guide Tour on the exhibition grounds.
- Adapteo delivered a modern two-storey modular school for Groß-Gerau’s vocational schools in Germany as a solution during extensive construction work on campus. Highlight: workshop rooms with reinforced floors supporting loads of up to 500 kg!
- In Sweden, the Stockholm School of Economics teamed up with Tengbom architects and Adapteo to continue operations in a modular conference centre designed for flexibility. Included: a large dining hall, a professional kitchen, lounge area, and two fireplaces!
