Accountant

Vantaa, Finland • Helsinki, Finland

We are looking for an Accountant to join our Group Finance team in Vantaa in a permanent position. In this role, you’ll manage end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Invoice-to-Pay (I2P) processes for selected entities and ensure smooth, accurate and efficient daily finance operations across multiple countries.

You’ll be part of a centralized, skilled finance team that values learning, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage customer invoicing, collections, cash allocation, account receivable and dispute management
  • Handle purchase invoice processing, vendor master data maintenance, accounts payable, as well as supplier and internal stakeholder queries
  • Process and control travel & expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Support month‑end closing activities, including reconciliations and documentation
  • Ensure high‑quality transactional accounting to support reporting
  • Collaborate closely with Business Units, Operations, Procurement, and other Finance teams across several countries
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement, standardization and automation initiatives

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or equivalent
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, AP/AR, or shared services center operations
  • Solid understanding of O2C and P2P processes and month‑end closing activities
  • Experience working with ERP systems (MS Dynamics 365 BC Cloud is considered an advantage)
  • Strong Excel and general IT skills
  • Fluent English is required, additional languages (German, Swedish or Finnish) is considered an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of your own responsibility area, while being a strong team player in an international environment
  • Accurate and structured way of working with strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and a service‑minded attitude towards both internal and external stakeholders
  • Positive and proactive mindset, with willingness to learn and improve existing processes
