Product Design Engineer – Modular Buildings

What you will do

As Product Designer, you will play an important role in creating and maintaining Adapteo's standard product designs and drawings for our product systems. You will support Product Design Managers by producing accurate technical drawings, documentation and product data that help ensure harmonized, scalable and high-quality product solutions across Adapteo.

You will work with technical designs, product documentation and product data, contributing to solutions that are aligned with our business needs, our quality standards and our ambition to develop adaptable and sustainable modular buildings.

Responsibilities include:

·Support Product Design Managers with product drawings and designs.

·Create and maintain technical designs, drawings and documentation for standard products.

·Ensure product designs are harmonized, scalable and aligned with Adapteo's standards.

·Maintain accurate product data and information through Inventor models and Bills of Materials.

·Contribute to high-quality technical documentation and structured product information.

·Ensure that work is conducted in accordance with Adapteo's policies for quality, environment, health and safety, as well as other relevant routines and steering materials.

·Stay updated on relevant internal and external rules, regulations and information connected to the role.

Your profile

We believe you have a strong background in technical design, product design, architecture, building engineering or a similar field. You are used to working with technical drawings and design tools, and you enjoy creating accurate, structured and scalable design solutions.

You are analytical, detail-oriented and take pride in delivering high-quality work. You understand the importance of accurate product data, technical documentation and well-maintained design standards. You are also collaborative and enjoy working with different stakeholders to support business needs and product development.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

·Expertise in technical design of products, architecture or building engineering.

·Proficiency in design tools: Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor, Revit as advantage.

·Experience working with product data and technical documentation.

·An analytical and detail-oriented mindset.

·Familiarity with metallic and timber structures

·The ability to deliver accurate designs and solutions aligned with business needs.

·Good collaboration skills and a structured way of working.

.Fluency in English

It is beneficial if you have a background in architecture, civil engineering or mechanical engineering. Experience with product design, manufacturing processes, industrial production or modularity required.
