Adapteo’s modular solutions allow for buildings to be adapted, scaled up or down, moved, and reused for various purposes and locations. To continue to innovate for sustainability is a key part of Adapteo’s sustainability strategy, with the goal to achieve climate-neutral production and to only use sustainable materials by 2030.
“By extending the lifespan of buildings and enabling more opportunities for reuse, the carbon footprint can be significantly reduced. Moreover, the fact that our modules can be adapted over time allows for complete customisation according to the customer’s needs and desires while taking responsibility for the building’s entire lifecycle”, said Lina K Wiles, Chief Sustainability Officer at Adapteo.
Seventy percent of Adapteo’s buildings have already been used and are rented out again, and the carbon impact of each use decreases over time. Reusing modules is a sustainable alternative to newly produced buildings, yet new construction remains the most common practice today. Static buildings cannot possibly meet the EU’s reuse targets (70 percent). Modular buildings are circular by design, as they can be scaled up, scaled down, moved, and reused as needs change.
Adapteo’s circular business model
Our adaptable buildings can be moved, transformed, and used, again and again. With our concept, we use minimal resources to provide maximum value for our customers and society.
