The Adapteo way

Triple Treat: People, Planet, Profit

Adapteo is dedicated to significantly reducing our carbon footprint, aligning with the Paris Agreement’s objectives. In a major step forward, we submitted our Commitment Letter to the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi) in December 2023, aiming for a net-zero target by 2040 and an interim goal for 2030.

Science-Based Targets: Our strategy includes reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across scopes 1, 2, and 3.
Decarbonization Plan: Completed in 2023 for scopes 1 and 2 emissions, our plan is action-ready from 2024. It encompasses mobile and stationary combustion, heating, and electricity usage.
Renewable Energy Transition: By 2024, we're moving to 100% renewable electricity and plan to phase out fossil energy and fuel vehicles by 2030.
Scope 3 Emissions Strategy: For indirect emissions, we're developing a plan in line with SBTi’s guidelines.

Join us as we pave the way toward a more circular future.

Triple Materiality

Going beyond compliance

The CSRD's Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) is pivotal, prompting businesses to evaluate both their sustainability impact and how ESG factors affect them. For Adapteo, the DMA was a starting point, not the end. We evolved this concept into a Triple Materiality approach, integrating our aggressive business growth plans. This allowed us to pinpoint activities that create both sustainability and enterprise value.

After intense workshops and analysis, we identified over 50 initiatives bridging business growth and sustainable transformation. We filtered these ideas to a manageable few, each covering various aspects of our value chain and requiring diverse levels of effort, cost, and scalability. Already, we've launched and are progressing with the first 13 impactful initiatives.
