Adapteo Group today announces the establishment of Adapteo Latvia, a new business unit that will expand the company’s modular rental offering across the Latvian market and further strengthen its position in the Baltics.
The new entity is headquartered in Riga.

Adapteo Latvia will offer flexible modular infrastructure solutions, focusing primarily on rental for schools, kindergartens and office environments, delivered as turnkey projects from concept to completed building. The new branch builds on Adapteo’s long-standing experience in Estonia and Lithuania, adapting these proven concepts to meet local Latvian needs. The ambition is to accelerate growth by supporting both public and private customers with adaptable, sustainable building solutions.

Although still in an early phase, the Latvian portfolio already comprises approximately 4,800 square metres of modular space and around 300 units in the market. This includes our work for ERB Rail on facilities supporting the Rail Baltica project in Latvia. As part of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T), Rail Baltica links the Baltics to key European corridors, boosting defence and security, logistics and trade, mobility and economic resilience. Rail Baltica is the largest infrastructure project in Baltic history, reconnecting the region to the rest of Europe.

“Latvia is the next natural step in our Baltic growth story,” says Johanna Persson, President and CEO of Adapteo Group. “With Adapteo Latvia we are bringing our extensive experience in modular schools, kindergartens and social infrastructure even closer to our local customers, so that they can scale their premises up or down as needs change without compromising on quality or speed. This new branch reinforces our strategy of being present locally while leveraging the strength of the entire Adapteo Group.”

Adapteo Latvia will be led by Jurij Vasiljev, who serves as board member of the company in Latvia and is the Managing Director of Adapteo Estonia and Adapteo Lithuania. Jurij brings extensive experience from running Adapteo’s Baltic operations and from delivering complex modular infrastructure projects across the region.

“We see clear demand in Latvia for modern, high-quality modular buildings – especially in education and public infrastructure,” says Jurij Vasiljev, Board Member and Managing Director, Adapteo Latvia. “Our strength lies in delivering complete, turnkey solutions, from the first idea and design to installation and handover. We already have a solid base of projects in Latvia, and with a dedicated local company we can work even closer with municipalities, businesses and other partners to support their long‑term development.”

Adapteo’s Baltic strategy is to offer the full spectrum of the Group’s modular solutions in Latvia, mirroring its approach in neighbouring markets. The company will explore opportunities in education, offices, public administration and supportive facilities for care segments, while remaining open to new applications as customer needs evolve.

The establishment of Adapteo Latvia also supports the Group’s broader European ambition to be a leading provider of flexible social infrastructure in strategically important locations.
