Our sustainability agenda & contribution

According to the World Green Building Council, the construction and real estate industry stands for 39% of global CO2 emissions. That has to change. The EU Circular Economy Action Plan suggests that approximately 80 percent of emissions from constructing and renovating buildings, can be saved with more circular solutions. Such a transition is necessary if we are to meet the Paris agreement and stop global warming and climate change.

With more flexible and reusable solutions, renovation, and better use of existing buildings, we can reinvent the construction industry and push it toward circularity, sustainability, and flexibility.

How Adapteo works with sustainability

We believe that society will go through immense changes in the years to come. As with our ways of life, where user needs and sustainability demands evolve, facilities have to transform accordingly.

With a circular construction concept, Adapteo provides buildings that can adapt to the needs of both people and planet. We use climate-smart raw materials, resource-efficient production, innovation and an inclusive approach. We offer adaptable solutions that help our customers become more sustainable, and this is how we enable a more resilient and sustainable construction and real estate industry.

We also work to ensure ethical business practices in our operations and through our value chain.

We build adaptable societies.
